General Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory provisions

1.1 Pet Hotel Teplice (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”) is managed by PetGrooming Company s.r.o. with an office registered at Radlická 571/70, 150 00 Praha 5 – Smíchov, identification number: 27637476 (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”)

1.2 Pet Hotel Teplice is located at U Hadích lázní 3269, 415 01 Teplice.

1.3 These Terms govern the relationship between the Provider and the person interested in the animal’s stay at the Hotel (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”)

2. Reservation of accommodation

2.1 The owner reserves accommodation for his animal on the website https://www.psihotelteplice.cz/ by filling out the booking form. Reservations can also be made by email info@psihotelteplice.cz, by phone +420 774 665 584 or +420 776 390 035 or by message on social networks.

2.2 In case of booking not through the booking form on the website (by email, telephone, through social networks), the Owner is obliged to fill out a printed booking form during the first stay of the animal at the Hotel upon transfer of the animal.

2.3 On the booking form, the pet owner provides accurate information about himself and his pet and agrees to these terms and conditions.

2.4 The provider reserves the right to change the terms of the agreement. The Owner will be notified of this change by a message to his email address or during his next visit to the Hotel.

2.5 Reservations are only valid upon and confirmation of the reservation by the Provider.

2.6 The Provider reserves the right to refuse a booking due to lack of space.

3. Cost of living

3.1 The price for accommodation is determined by the current price list, which is published on the Provider’s website and is charged for each day started from the moment the animal checks into the Hotel until the moment it is handed over to the Owner.

3.2 The owner undertakes to pay for the services in cash when delivering the animal to the Hotel or in advance to the provider’s bank account. When paying by transfer, the amount must be credited to the Provider’s account on the day the animal arrives at the Hotel. The Provider undertakes to provide the Owner with confirmation of payment for accommodation and services.

3.3 If the animal’s stay at the Hotel lasted longer than agreed and paid for, the difference must be paid no later than the moment the animal is picked up from the Hotel.

3.4 The price includes accommodation at the Hotel with meals, room accommodation, basic care and supervision, regular walks, cleaning with disinfection, regular feeding and watering. If the Owner wants, he can also bring his own food, but this fact does not affect the price of accommodation. The administration of medications provided by the Owner carries an additional charge of 50 CZK for each administration.

3.5 In the case of birds, the Owner must bring the bird with a cage and its own food to which the bird is accustomed.

4. Cancellation terms

4.1 Cancellations must be made in writing, by email or SMS. Contact information is specified in clause 2.1 of these General Conditions.

4.2 If the full amount for the stay is paid in advance, the Provider undertakes to return the payment for the stay to the Owner, reduced by the Non-Refundable Deposit.

5. Adopting an animal

5.1 Unless otherwise agreed, the Provider will collect the animal from the Owner on the Hotel premises.

5.2 The animal must be treated with an antiparasitic drug or wear an antiparasitic collar.

5.3 If a pet is infested with parasites or excessively dirty, it will only be accepted if the Owner pre-books a flea treatment and bathing service in the hotel salon.

5.4 The owner of a cat or dog is obliged to show that the animal is properly vaccinated by presenting a certificate of vaccination of the animal (veterinary passport). The veterinary passport is kept for the duration of the animal’s stay at the hotel, in case a visit to the veterinarian is necessary. Without a valid veterinary passport, the animal will not be allowed into the Hotel.

5.5 The provider also reserves the right to refuse to accept an animal on the grounds that it is showing signs of illness or aggression. If we are talking about aggression only towards other animals, the animal may be taken into the hotel. The Provider is also not obliged to accept an animal if the Owner provided false information during registration.

5.6 Animals are accepted from 09:00 (9AM) to 21:00 (9PM). The exact time is agreed upon by the Owner and Provider no later than one day before the animal’s stay at the Hotel.

6. Placing the animal

6.1 The provider undertakes to place the animal in a comfortably equipped and clean hotel area. In addition, he undertakes to properly care for the animal, provide it with decent housing, regular walks, clean water and feeding in accordance with the owner’s requirements.

6.2 The placement of an animal is agreed upon for a certain period of time, which is indicated in the booking form (order). Extension of stay is possible by agreement.

6.3 The Owner is obliged to pick up the animal from the Hotel on a pre-agreed day and time (hereinafter referred to as the date), but no later than 21:00 (9PM). The Owner is also required to notify the Provider of any changes, at least 24 hours before the agreed date and notify the Provider of the new date. If the Owner fails to do so, the Provider has the right to charge an additional fee of 50% of the base price for each additional day of stay for stays beyond the agreed length of stay.

7. Stay of the animal

7.1 The owner acknowledges that the animal may suffer injuries during its stay, such as abrasions or other injuries, especially if the owner wishes the animal to come into contact with other animals. The provider will take all measures to minimize this risk.

7.2 Dogs are accommodated separately in the Hotel and can only contact each other during walks and games.

7.3 By agreeing to these General Conditions, the Owner consents to photographic, video and audio recording of the animal’s stay at the Hotel for the purpose of sending these materials to the Animal Owner and using them for promotion and advertising of the Hotel.

7.4 If an animal requires special care and attention or does not get along with other animals, the Owner is obliged to draw the attention of hotel staff to this.

8. Veterinary care

8.1 The operator is obliged to provide, if necessary, veterinary care in an institution chosen by him depending on the type and extent of the disease or injury. Purposefully incurred expenses for this care will be reimbursed by the Owner upon departure of the animal from the hotel, if they arose through no fault of the Provider. The Provider undertakes to inform the Owner about this fact.

8.2 If the Provider has any doubts regarding the current state of health of the animal, he reserves the right to submit the animal for examination to a veterinarian. The inspection is paid for by the Owner.

8.3 The Provider is not responsible for sudden death or deterioration in the health of the animal caused by hidden or undiagnosed disease or health problems hidden by the Owner.

8.4 Purposeful expenses for veterinary care arising through the Provider’s fault are reimbursed by the Provider.

9. Liability for damage and non-property damage

9.1 The Owner is obliged to compensate the Provider for all losses resulting from violation of these General Conditions, in particular, as a result of providing false or incomplete information about the health status and character traits of the animal. He is also obliged to compensate for damage or non-property damage caused by the animal, for example, biting another animal or staff, infecting other animals with diseases or parasites, destroying or damaging Hotel equipment, and the like.

9.2 The Provider compensates the Owner for the damage caused, but is not obliged to compensate the Owner or a third party for any moral damage.

9.3 The Owner acknowledges that the Provider is not responsible for the escape of an animal that is clearly hyperactive and has a tendency to run away. The provider undertakes to minimize the risk of the animal escaping.

9.4 If an animal entrusted to the Provider causes damage to a third party, the provisions of the Civil Code, in particular § 2933–2935, apply with regard to compensation for damage caused.
